The Setting
Off in a corner of the farm at one end of the lake is this lovely little cabin with outdoor space where you can sit with views of the water.
Chat over the fence to whichever animals are in the field that day or soak into the hot tub to stare up at the stars.
Water's Edge cabin is within sight, but the parking area is the only thing that’s shared.

Lakeside Facilities
Lakeside cabin has been decked out with simple rustic charm blended with touches of comfort like the oven and hobs, gas-powered shower, fridge/freezer. There's the most enormous comfy bed with a panoramic window framing the picture perfect view. There are armchairs to relax in, but also a picnic bench and a firepit BBQ if you prefer to live life outdoors.
Lakeside is our only property with exclusive access to hire 'Water Beaver', our cute little row boat to pootle around the lake, (choose this as an add on when booking).
Nearby
The nearest pub, The Stapleton Arms in Buckhorn Weston, is a 30-minute walk across footpaths or you can hire our bikes to arrive with the wind in your hair. A lovely local pub with great food and a sunny beer garden.
If you’re the sort who likes to mix a little activity in with the lazing around, then you can head out on some great hikes. Cranborne Chase and the two Dorset AONBs are both nearby and are wonderful patches of natural beauty where you can walk for miles or enjoy an enormous number of outdoor pursuits.

About the Wood Fired Hot Tub
The hot tub is situated on the decking next to the cabin. This is a wood fired hot tub designed for two people to enjoy.
Please note, we do not pre heat the hot tub. It will take around 1.5 to 2 hours to heat up depending on outside temp so do plan in advance. It will require between 1.5 to 2 nets of logs depending the outside temperature.
We provide a few logs for a small fire, but not enough for your stay. If you wish to use the hot tub, please buy logs, kindling and firelighters in our online farm shop to be delivered to your door.
