The Setting
This traditional oak clad Shepherd's hut makes a perfect rustic retreat for those wishing to fully escape urban life in exchange for fields and freedom. A wonderfully snug little property for two, Sweet Acre has it's own enclosed paddock garden which means it's a great option if you'd like to bring your dog along for the adventure.
Located on the edge of the farm, with easy access from your car, just park up, walk down a path for 5 mins and then you’re there. All that's to do is relax, pour a drink and take in the wonderful countryside views.

Sweet Acre Facilities
Equipped with all you need if you plan to stay put. Offgrid but still with mod cons. You'll have the comforts of a modern shower room with rainfall shower and flushing loo.
There's also a fabulous wood fired hot tub and you can enjoy gazing up at the stars at night from the comfort of the tub.
The kitchenette has a sink, a small fridge (no freezer) and electric. Cook using the log fuelled cooking over with stove top or stock up with charcoal and fire up the outdoor BBQ. We can also provide a gas camping stove.
Nearby
The nearest pub, The Stapleton Arms in Buckhorn Weston, is a 30-minute walk and has great pub food a lovely large garden and sunny front patio.
There are three AONBs nearby - Cranbourne Chase, Dorset and Mendip Hills – so you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to longer hikes. The lovely towns of Shaftesbury and Bruton are just 20 minutes away.

About the Wood Fired Hot Tub
The hot tub is situated within Sweetacre's enclosed garden. This is a wood fired hot tub designed for two people to enjoy.
Please note, we do not pre heat the hot tub. It will take around 2 to 4 hours to heat up depending on outside temp so do plan in advance. It will require between 3 to 5 nets of logs depending the outside temperature.
We provide a few logs for a small fire, but not enough for your stay. If you wish to use the hot tub, please buy logs, kindling and firelighters in our online farm shop to be delivered to your door.
