The Setting
This secluded, characterful cabin was hand- made by owner Woody in a quiet corner of the woods that’s perfect for idling and contemplation.
You’ll be instantly relaxed as you get the fire going and pull up the armchairs for hours of board games and books, or take a soak in the hot tub and watch the changing light on the huge expanse of hills.You can ditch the car at the parking area (it's around a 12-minute walk from here to the cabin) and explore on foot for days, never letting the modern world intrude on your peace for a second.

Piggy Woods' Facilities
Although the cabin is secluded in the woods, you’re not totally without a bit of modern comfort. The shower and kitchen facilities are all top notch. There’s electric lighting and plug sockets and a delightful fireplace with comfy seating. Candles and a BBQ are provided if you want to go totally off grid.
Upstairs you’ll find the massive bed in the mezzanine, a cosy little nook where you can enjoy a long lie in while you think about exploring the countryside.

If you can bear to leave the tranquility of Piggy Woods, you’ll find plenty to do in the area. Cranborne Chase and the Dorset AONBs abound with natural beauty for hiking and other outdoor activities. Bruton and Shaftesbury are only 15 - 20 mins away by car.
The nearest pub, The Stapleton Arms in Buckhorn Weston, is a 30-minute walk and has great pub food and a lovely outside seating area.

About the Wood Fired Hot Tub
The hot tub is situated in front of the cabin with amazing views and is completely private. Designed for two people to enjoy, this is a wood fired hot tub.
Please note, we do not pre heat the hot tub. It will take around 4 - 6 hours to heat up depending on the outside temperature, so do plan in advance. It will require between 4 - 6 nets of logs depending the outside temp.
We provide a few logs for a small fire, but not enough for your stay. If you wish to use the hot tub, please buy logs, kindling and firelighters in our online farm shop to be delivered to your door.
