The Setting
Recline in the copper bath overlooking the lake, or just close your eyes and listen to the cosy crackle of the wood burning stove. Sit out on the deck or take a gentle row down the stream in Water Beetle. Enjoy a drink watching the sun go down or up, over the Blackmore Vale and beyond.
Lakeside cabin is within sight, but the parking area is the only thing that’s shared.

Water's Edge Facilities
Perfect if you want a rustic adventure, but love you luxe comforts and mod cons. A gorgeous double ended copper bath sits right in front of the large glass window overlooking the water. There’s a stunning modern shower room with rainfall shower and flusing loo.
Cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen with sink, electric hob and oven. Lounge with a book on the huge velvet Chesterfield.
For alfreco dining, the table and seating on the deck is the perfect place to relax with a glass of local fizz. Climb aboard our little row boat and drift along the stream out front.
Nearby
If you like to mix a little activity with the lazing around, then you can head out on some great hikes. Cranborne Chase and the two Dorset AONBs are both nearby and are wonderful patches of natural beauty where you can walk for miles or enjoy an enormous number of outdoor pursuits. Some of those spots will require a drive, but you might want to ditch the car completely and just enjoy the space and the surrounding woods.
Enjoy our local…walk to The Stapleton Arms across the footpaths or hire our bikes to get there with the wind in your hair.
