The Setting
This charming vintage horsebox has been converted into a super comfortable and stylish property for two. Berril is also a great option if you'd like to bring your dog along for the adventure.
Gaze out at the stunning views of the Somerset and Dorset hills. Light up the wood buring stove and listen to the crackle of the fire as you snuggle on the couch with a book. Enjoy the nature literally on your doorstep; look out for deer, badgers, horses and foxes who all live nearby.
Toast marshmallows around the firepit before climbing the few steps up to your comfy Super King bed, above the cab of the truck.
Berril Facilities
Powered by solar, Berril is completely offgrid yet equipped with all you need if you plan to stay put. Power sockets are limited so please leave high powered appliances like your straighteners at home.
Your super king size bed over the cabin will ensure a blissful night's sleep for all. There’s a lovely rainfall thermosatic shower and proper flushing toilet. The kitchenette has a sink, a fridge (no freezer) and electric. Cook for yourself inside with the mini-oven and two hobs. Or fire up the barbecue and cook up a feast over the coals. There's a table and chairs just out front where you can enjoy alfreso dining, anytime of the day. Although we welcome dogs at Berril, the garden is not dog proof so you will be responsible for your pet.

The nearest pub, The Stapleton Arms in Buckhorn Weston, is a 30-minute walk and has great pub food and a lovely outside seating area. With three AONBs nearby - Cranbourne Chase, Dorset and Mendip Hills – you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to longer hikes and the lovely market town of Shaftesbury is just 20 minutes away.
