The village of Cucklington lies on the south eastern edge of Somerset county, bordering Dorset and Wiltshire. Nestled in a beautiful rural setting, Cucklington is mentioned in the Domesday book and dates back to the Anglo-Saxon period.

Cranborne Chase and the two Dorset AONBs are both nearby and are wonderful patches of natural beauty where you can walk for miles or enjoy an enormous number of outdoor pursuits. Some of those spots will require a drive, but you might want to ditch the car completely and just enjoy the space and the surrounding woods.
